This policy explains what PAPI does with the information you give us through this site, and what we deliberately do not do with it.
Who we are
PAPI is a bar and lounge at Papi Saigon, 123 Le Loi Blvd, SGN. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means the business operating that venue and this website.
We are the party that decides what information is collected here and what happens to it.
What we collect
One thing on this site asks you for information: the table request form. It collects exactly these fields, and nothing else:
- Your name, so we know who the table is for.
- Your phone number, so we can call you back to confirm.
- The number of guests, the date and the time you would like.
- An optional note, if you choose to write one — for example an allergy, an occasion or a seating preference.
The note is a free text box, so what it contains is entirely your choice. Please do not put anything in it you would not want a member of our floor staff to read.
We do not ask for your email address, your date of birth, your address or any payment details, because we do not need them to hold a table.
Why we collect it
To answer your request and hold your table. Your request reaches us as a request, not a confirmed booking — we call you on the number you gave us to confirm the time and assign a table. Without a name and a number we cannot do that.
We do not use what you give us here to send you marketing. If we ever want to, we will ask you separately and you will be free to say no.
What we do not do
This is worth stating plainly, because most sites cannot say it:
- There is no analytics on this site. We do not measure your visit, your scrolling or which pages you read.
- There are no tracking or advertising pixels, and no third-party marketing tags.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Not to anyone, for any price.
- Our typefaces are served from our own server rather than from a font network, so simply reading this page does not announce your visit to a third party.
Who can see your information
Your table request is visible to the staff who run our reservations — the people who call you back and seat you. It is not shared more widely than that.
We use service providers to host this website and to run it. They process information strictly on our instructions and only to keep the service running. We will name them here, and say where they store data, as that arrangement is finalised.
We will also disclose information where the law requires it of us — for example a lawful request from a competent authority.
How long we keep it
We keep a table request for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep an ordinary record of our bookings, and then we delete it. We are finalising the exact period and will state it here as a number of months.
You can ask us to delete your request sooner. See your rights, below.
Your rights
Under Vietnamese personal data protection law you have rights over the information we hold about you. In particular you may:
- Ask what we hold about you, and ask for a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Withdraw your consent, which you may do at any time.
- Object to what we are doing with it, or ask us to restrict it.
- Complain to the competent authority if you think we have handled it badly.

Keeping it safe
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to reservation records is limited to staff who need it to do their job.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and the competent authority as the law requires.
Children
This is a licensed venue and this site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will change this page and move the date at the top of it. If the change is significant, we will do more than that — we will make sure you have a fair chance to see it before it takes effect.
